You're going to make a twat of yourself.. and that is okay.

One of the things that stops people going in the gym is they’re worried about looking like an idiot and I’m here to tell you… you will!

How do I know this? Because I still do.

I spent a good minute or two this week confused why the leg extension wasn’t working.

Playing around with different levers, taking out the pin on the weights and trying that all whilst my client was watching, waiting and probably wondering if I got brain damage for Christmas

No matter what I did I could not get that pad moving.

Until that was I realised I was on the wrong machine.

I was trying to extend my legs on a hamstring curl.

This was neither the first time I’ve made a twat out of myself, nor will it be the last both in and out of the gym.

EVERYONE has done something stupid in the gym, whether it’s tripping over, using some equipment wrong or falling off a treadmill because they were a teenager and a yoga class was distracting him.. (def not me)

The best thing you can do, laugh it off, go home after your workout and tell your family and friends you were a massive twat and go back the next day.
